Two runners at Perth tomorrow

In theory, the drying ground would seem to suit our two runners at Perth tomorrow, but both Ellistrin Belle and Hawaii Klass have not been running as if their winning turn would be soon.

However, we can but try and Belle runs over 2m (and bits) in the handicap hurdle. She travels well usually, if a little too well, so we might try and drop her in. Then again, it may depend on who else wants to make the pace.

Hawaii Klass has run well at Perth in the past, and takes his chance in the 3m handicap chase. He's been dropped a couple of pounds by the handicapper, but then again he may be more suited to a shorter trip.

Anyway, the Perth Festival is one of the standout events in the northern NH calendar, so we hope connections will have an enjoyable day, win, lose or draw.
