Dumbarton makes his stable debut

The ex Jimmy Moffat trained Dumbarton joined the stable in April, having been acquired by his current owners at Doncaster Sales last September. The geldings's sole win over hurdles came over 4 years ago when trained by Gordon Elliott across the Irish Sea, but he ran some fine races for Jimmy over the last couple of seasons.
Having said that, he has has a fair bit of time of since his last run (leg strain) but we've been quite pleased with his morning work, but a full blown race is a bit more so we're looking for a nice run, and that he comes home safely.

The lads of The Six Thix Syndicate are also new to Dodlands Steading, and we wish them an enjoyable day tomorrow. Dumbarton has shown good form over 2m 4f, and the good to soft going should provide safe jumping ground at this time of year.
