'Baby' runs at Ayr on Monday.
2m 4f, Ayr racecourse, heavy ground.....Baby Ticker would appear to have a lot of things in her favour. But she's rising 12 years of age and is 5lb above her highest winning mark so while she could run well, winning may just be a little out of her reach at present.
Tom Lacey's Unohu won readily over this course 2 weeks ago and if showing no ill effects from that run, this improving novice could be thrown in off OR122. Steps up in trip , and his full brother Sir Egbert seems best at 2 miles, but there are several fair performers at 2½ miles in the pedigree. The one to beat.
There are several having a run after a long-ish lay-off but have the
form to be prominent, none more so the Rio Quinto.
Lily's Gem form tailed off towards the end of last season and the pick
of the rest of the field may be Lucinda's Bialco. Bialco takes a drop in
class in general, and is also dropped to a winnable mark and could go
close.
Connor Wood claims the 7 and takes the ride once more. Best of luck.

Couple of 'not bad' efforts at Carlisle (Sunday)
Stolen Money stayed on dourly in the 3m 1f maiden hurdle into 2nd place
at Carlisle on Sunday.
He's all about staying and this run was his best so far on just his
third outing, albeit that the overall standard of the race wasn't too
high. No chance with the winner - Seven Eye Bridge - but the rest of
the field were fairly strung out behind.
Staying is clearly his forte, and he will come into his own for a fence
in time.
Another that looks sure to improve for a distance of ground and jumping
is Maid of Houxty. There was a fair pace to this bumper, especially in
the very testing conditions, and Bill Aitchison's mare kept on up the
hill into 6th after being outpaced about 4f out.
Nice introduction though,
fairly promising as there were big gaps in behind to the remainder of
the field..
