Two runners at Kelso Sunday

Undecided didn't quite make the ballot for the bumper in Kelso's card on Sunday but there are still a couple of runners to represent Dodlands Steading on the day. Both are likely outsiders, though...........

Still, with both our horses owned locally, we hope that all (or most) can be in attendance at the track. Simon & Angela Gillie (Kinerton Hill) and The Brave Lads Partnership for Big Bad Dream. It's been a wee while but enjoy the day.

Young novice hurdler Kinerton Hill makes a fairly quick reappearance (he ran in mid March at Hexham) in the opening race on the card (2pm), a 2m 2f novices' hurdle.  A strong gelding by Kalanisi, we'd be looking for him to improve his jumping here. The returning from injury Craig Nichol is in the saddle.

Next race up (2.31pm) is a handicap hurdle over 2m 6½f. Big Bad Dream certainly has the ability to win a race such as this but he'll have to show a better attitude than of late to take a hand. Young Billy Garritty takes off the 3.
