Musselburgh Tuesday
Tuesday's 7-race card at Musselburgh has probably deserved better
support from Northern-based yards as there are 3 of the events with just
5 or 6 runners. Especially with an advance going description of soft,
but I suppose the track layout doesn't suit every jumps horse.
(And we consider ourselves guilty as charged!).
Anyway, we do run Danced Every Dance in the 0-105 handicap hurdle at 3.00 over 2m 4f with.......15 runners.
After recent irreverent updates on here from our Web Team, we were
looking forward to pouring over the form book, burning the midnight oil
and providing an in-depth analysis of this race but....
The winner of such races in this grade can often be hard to pinpoint -
exposed types tumbling down the weights, unexposed horses improving with
time - and this race is choc-a-bloc with such sorts. Our mare could fall
between these two stools as after a below
par effort at Catterick last time, she has a bit to prove.
Oh, wait a minute though.....there's a progressive horse here in
Nineohtwooneoh. Runs off OR94, owned by JP for the Nicholls/Cobden
combo, and cost 38 large as a yearling. The likely fav then.
Other than that, this is a wide-open handicap but we hope our mare can
show more of the promise that she displays at home on the racecourse.
Callum takes the ride, and we wish Wee Davie and the lads of the Denholm Park Racing syndicate the best of luck!
