Hartforth goes at Hexham tomorrow
It's fair to say that we would have preferred more ease in the ground for the chesnut, but Hartforth has been ready to run for a couple of weeks now, so we'll let him take his chance in the 3m handicap hurdle.
Since joining the yard during the spring, Hartforth has had a couple of
flat outings but we've always seen his career as a handicap hurdler. But
over which distance?
Close look at his form indicates that he has run well in his sole run
over 3 miles, but his sire Haafhd is not renowned for stayers.
It's only the start of the season, and we'll know a lot more tomorrow
night, but we do think he'll be suited by soft.
Best of luck to the Brave Lads, we're sure they'll enjoy the day.
