Jimmy's Jet kicks off our bumper campaign

Those of you familiar with our NH Season's Preview will know that we have a fair number of horses who'll start off in bumpers this season. Come to think of it, even if you're not familiar with the Season's Preview we still have a fair number of horses to run in NH Flat races.

We run Jimmy Fyffe & Rob Bewley's Jet Away gelding Jimmy's Jet in the bumper at Ayr on Monday which closes the card at 5.20pm. The current going is given as good but the forecast rain from mid day will help to take any sting out of the ground. Good covering of grass though.

13 runners but not a lot of form to go on.
Jack Of All Shapes improved for a wind op last time but looks vulnerable to speedier sorts, so the best form shown so far is Mike Smith's Father's Advice on his second place over course and distance in May.
There seems to be a good word about for Nicky's Rose of Siena (half-sister to winning hurdler) who could well take advantage of her filly's weight allowance.
Bannside cost £20,000 at Doncaster's May Sale but may be better suited to staying trips over jumps.
Alien Encounter has several bumper winners close up in her pedigree and could put in a prominent show.

We like Jimmy's Jet though. He was one of a quartet of horses from our yard who was sent up to Musselburgh last week for a post race gallop so he shouldn't lack for experience. Callum Bewley comes in for the ride and best of luck to his connections, so let's hope he goes well.
