Cowboy Cooper ran a fine race over course and distance just over a month ago when 3rd on his seasonal reappearance. Not beaten that far either.
The going that day was heavy (as it is today), runs off the same mark and his regular man in the saddle (Craig) is in situ.
What's not to like about his chances?

Around that same time, My Last Oscar also ran 3rd after a 7 month gap and like our lad will be expected to improve for the run.
Summer hurdler You Say Its Over wouldn't have been finding the ground much to her liking in those outings and will appreciate this return to heavy going. A consistent sort on testing conditions, she wont be far away.
C&D winner Velasco is another who shaped well on seasonal debut and act on heavy.

So, maybe Cowboy Cooper's chances are not as clear cut as we'd hoped. 6 run.
