Haydock tomorrow

Shades of Midnight runs in the first race at Haydock tomorrow, a Class 3 handicap hurdle over just short of 2m 7f.

You may remember he was due to run at Ayr just after New Year, but he suffered a minor hoof infection and we decided not to run. That was a Class 2 event worth a bit more prize money than tomorrow, but the Haydock race is certainly more competitive.
Still, he's fit and well despite Hawick being smothered with light snow for a few days, so we're looking forward to a day at the races.
