Off to Hexham tomorrow
Although our pair at Hexham tomorrow have been in training through the
summer, we can never be totally accurate just how far forward they are
in terms of condition.
I mean, Hawaii Klass and Snapping Turtle are going about their morning
work (they have been working together) with zest and enthusiasm. None
more so, than last weekend when we gave them both a piece of fast work
in preparation for tomorrow. They both go in separate handicap hurdles,
Hawaii is off bottom weight over 2m 4f and change, while Snapping Turtle
gives weight all round over 3m.
We've kept Hawaii Klass over hurdles, and he's been dropped 5lb from his last run in July, has run well on good so would hold every chance of putting up a good performance.
Snapping Turtle's last run at Perth was over 3 miles, and he ran up to his best on that occasion. He may well be exposed these days, but like Hawaii we think he'll put in a fine effort.
